Photos and description submitted by Ed Espe
Grensbråtan is where my grandmother (Anne Andersdatter Grensbråten Dahl) grew up. It was then a husmanns place containing a small house, a barn and perhaps
another storage building. When the most recent of these photos was taken, it was being used as a hytte. Although it is only about 2 km from highway 7, it is
surrounded by forest and has a remote feeling to it. Grensbråtan is too small and forested to be able earn a living off the land - especially for a family with
several children.
